I am currently pursuing Master of Computer Science at North Carolina State University. I am an ambitious, diligent and creative professional, a true generalist with interest in Machine Learning (Especially Deep Learning) and Software Engineering. I believe in doing things which directly makes an immediate impact.

  • Compared and deduced differences between the company’s traditional model and the selected model based on the dataset, pre-processing techniques employed, the model and its overall evaluation.

  • Performed reliability analysis of tweets as reviews by comparing it with Yelp reviews using Statistical Analysis, Natural Language Processing and Sentiment Analysis.
  • Created a database containing metadata of tweets using Twitter API and Cassandra, classified tweets based on three indices and Sentiment Analysis using Python and visualized the data using Tableau and Spark.
  • Implemented data preprocessing, data mining and NLP techniques on Yelp dataset and created a bag of words using CountVectorizer class of Scikit-Learn for more than 3,000,000 reviews.

  • Employed an Epsilon greedy approach which explored a random action for some percentage of time and optimized using Adaptive Moment Estimation (Adam) as an optimization algorithm.

    Apart from being a software developer, I enjoy most of my time being outdoors. I am an novice photographer and a traveller who loves to explore new places.


    When forced indoors, I follow a number of sci-fi and fantasy genre movies and television shows, I am an aspiring singer, and I spend a large amount of my free time exploring the latest technolgy advancements in the fields of machine learning and deep learning.
